Jim Weidner is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Vice President of Drug Substance Operations at Amgen since May 2006. Overseeing a team of over 600 staff, Jim is responsible for ensuring the delivery of drug substance to meet patient needs from multiple facilities. Previous roles at Amgen include Associate Vice President Engineering Technical Authority, where Jim led an international team and spearheaded Amgen's sustainability strategy, and Executive Director of Process Development, where Jim played a crucial role in developing processes for COVID-19 mAb production.
