John Allen is currently the Scientific Director at Amgen, a position they have held since 2005, where they have also served as Principal Scientist and Sr Principal Scientist. They began their career as a Senior Scientist at Eli Lilly from 2000 to 2005 and completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from 1998 to 2000. John obtained a PhD from Duke University in 1998 after earning a BS from Queen's University in 1993. Since 2023, they have also held the title of Scientific Associate Director at Amgen.
