John Mackall is a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer at Amgen, where they currently apply their expertise in automation. Previously, John was an Automated Systems Manager at Pfizer from 2019 to 2025, and they held the position of Systems Engineer I at RE Mason Company between 2018 and 2019. Their early experience includes serving as a teaching assistant in Anatomy & Physiology and Physics at Appalachian State University, and working as a Lab Assistant in the Neuromechanics Laboratory from 2015 to 2017. John earned two Master of Science degrees in Exercise Science with a focus on Biomechanics Research and in Engineering Physics from Appalachian State University, and they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Salisbury University. Currently, John is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Management of Artificial Intelligence from Stevens Institute of Technology.
