Jonathan Dermott

Jonathan Dermott has extensive experience in intellectual property and litigation, having held positions at prominent companies including Amgen, where roles included Associate General Counsel and Senior Counsel from March 2015 to July 2022, and GlaxoSmithKline, serving as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Counsel from December 2007 to March 2015. Prior to that, Jonathan Dermott worked as a Patent Attorney and Patent Agent at Synnestvedt & Lechner LLP from February 2001 to November 2007, and as a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from January 1999 to February 2001, where significant contributions included independent research into hematopoietic cell differentiation, earning the 2001 NIH Fellows Award for Research Excellence. Educationally, Jonathan Dermott holds a J.D. from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
