Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Amgen, bringing 18 years of safety experience from the United States Air Force and private sector roles in construction and general industry. Previously, Jonathan held positions including Corporate Environment Health & Safety Manager at J&J Worldwide Services and Safety Manager at Faulconer Construction, where they managed safety for numerous projects and implemented effective safety programs. Jonathan has a strong background in OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH standards, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of safety management, including hazard recognition, training, and regulatory compliance. Jonathan earned a degree in Leadership Management and Occupational Safety and Health from Waldorf University and an Associate’s Degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force.
