Joowon Lee is an experienced epidemiologist with a strong background in cardiovascular epidemiology and public health research. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine from 2018 to 2021, important research focused on the relationship between midlife lifestyle factors and cardiovascular disease outcomes, utilizing advanced analytical methods. Joowon continued to develop expertise at Genesis Research from 2021 to 2023, overseeing project scopes and delivering client-focused reports. Prior to these roles, Joowon served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, contributing as the lead statistical analyst on projects funded by the American Heart Association. Currently serving as a Senior Epidemiologist at Amgen since April 2023, Joowon holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health Education and a PhD in Epidemiology with a minor in Biostatistics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
