Julia Walker is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications Science & Innovation at Amgen since September 2016, Julia Walker supports R&D and the Chief Technology Officer to enhance tech and biotech integration. Previous roles at Amgen include Director and Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, overseeing comprehensive communication strategies. Julia Walker's career also includes a significant tenure at AstraZeneca, where positions ranged from Senior Director of International Communications to Senior Director of Brand Corporate Affairs, demonstrating expertise in international communications and brand advocacy. Early career experiences include account management roles at Hill & Knowlton and Porter Novelli, as well as product management at Merck.
