Karon Washington has a strong background in engineering and leadership, beginning with experience as a Senator for the University of South Florida Student Government from May 2020 to May 2021. Following this, Karon worked at American Airlines as a Reliability Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Co-Op from December 2021 to September 2024, where responsibilities included serving as a liaison engineer, designing a data dashboard using Excel VBA, and authoring engineering orders.
