Katherine Bachmann

Katherine Bachmann is a Physician-Scientist and Clinical Researcher with over 10 years of experience in clinical trials and studies. They served as an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2009 to 2012, followed by positions as an Endocrinology Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from 2012 to 2015, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2015 to 2023. Katherine worked as a Staff Physician and Research Scientist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center from 2017 to 2023, where they focused on obesity, endocrinology, metabolism, and cardiovascular disease. They joined Amgen in July 2023 as Medical Director and Early Development Lead in the Cardiometabolic Therapeutic Area, holding dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology along with a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation.
