Lenzie Ford has extensive experience in neuroscience, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Amgen since December 2024. Previously, Lenzie served as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC Santa Barbara from November 2020 to November 2024, focusing on tau spread in human cerebral organoids using advanced techniques such as stem cell biology and single-cell RNA sequencing. A Postdoctoral Associate at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from September 2015 to November 2020, Lenzie also completed a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Sussex from 2011 to 2015, with a research focus on the effects of amyloid beta on memory. An undergraduate researcher at the University of California Santa Cruz, Lenzie earned a BS in Neuroscience and Behavior in 2011 and held an adjunct professor role at Yeshiva University in early 2018.
