Manfred Heinzer

Manfred Heinzer is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President & General Manager of Amgen Germany since September 2020. Prior to this role, Heinzer held key positions at Gilead Sciences, including Head of Global Launch Excellence and Head of Inflammation for the ACE region from September 2018 to August 2020. At Roche, from January 1998 to July 2018, Heinzer advanced through various leadership roles, including Head of Commercialization Rare Diseases for Emerging Regions, General Manager in Switzerland and the Netherlands, and Vice President overseeing the Oncology franchise. Earlier in the career, Heinzer worked at GSK, where responsibilities spanned commercial strategy and marketing in respiratory and gastroenterology sectors. Heinzer holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of St.Gallen.
