Matthew Busch

Matthew Busch is the Chief Accounting Officer at Amgen, a role held since 2004, where responsibilities include providing technical accounting guidance, managing SEC filings, and overseeing the implementation of new accounting standards. Busch has held various leadership positions within Amgen, including Vice President of Corporate Finance and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for R&D, managing substantial budgets and providing analytical support for strategic initiatives. Prior to Amgen, Busch worked at Ernst & Young as a Manager in OnCall Advisory Services and at the Financial Accounting Standards Board as a Post Graduate Technical Assistant. Busch holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
