Melanie Perry, PharmD, MS, is an accomplished clinical pharmacy specialist with extensive experience in trauma, surgery, and nutrition support. At Orlando Health from May 2019 to December 2023, Melanie managed medication therapies and nutrition support for trauma and surgery patients, developed clinical research studies, and implemented quality improvement initiatives that optimized patient care and reduced costs. Currently serving as a Bone Health Medical Science Liaison at Amgen, Melanie engages with health system stakeholders to enhance post-fracture care pathways and presents health economic data to various audiences. Melanie holds a PharmD from UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, a BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy from the University of Florida. Previous roles include PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and a pharmacy internship at Target.
