Mike Akers

Mike Akers is the Senior Manager of Engineering at Amgen, a position held since 2006, where they support all phases of drug product packaging and packaging equipment. Prior to this role, they worked at Amgen from 1990 to 1996, gaining experience in Quality, Process Development, and as a Principal Engineer in drug product packaging and equipment engineering support. In 2004, Mike briefly served as a Validation Manager at Lonza. Mike studied at UC Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1990.
