Mitchell S.

Mitchell S. is currently a PhD candidate at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, focusing on biostatistics with a dissertation on metaheuristics and optimization techniques. Previously, they served as a Postbaccalaureate Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they worked on physical activity studies involving high-dimensional data. Mitchell holds a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from UCLA and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Florida. They also contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at Amgen from 2020 to 2023, optimizing clinical trial design and implementing cost-saving software solutions.
