Rachel Itow

Rachel Itow is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. Experience includes serving as a Future Physician Leaders Intern at UC Riverside School of Medicine, where collaboration on a community health project and presentation on period poverty were key responsibilities. As President of BMES at UC Riverside, leadership involved guiding organizational direction, conflict resolution, and establishing connections within the university. In research roles, Rachel contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the ONI Lab, focusing on bioimaging innovations, and participated in a summer research program at the University of Minnesota, exploring cryopreservation. Prior experience includes proposal writing for NASA and marketing at Nutripair. Currently, Rachel is employed as an Associate Manufacturing at Amgen.
