Sam Wright

Sam Wright is an experienced sales leader with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Area Sales Director for the Rare Disease Business Unit at Amgen since October 2023. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Area Sales Director and Specialty Account Manager at Horizon, specializing in rheumatology from March 2016 to December 2023. Sam's extensive background also includes over 16 years at Janssen Biotech as an Executive Immunology Specialist, where responsibilities involved establishing in-office infusions for rheumatology physicians. Earlier experience includes roles as a territory manager and hospital account representative at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and as an insurance broker with Wright and Sprayberry, Inc. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Mississippi State University, graduated in 1990.
