Scott Gibson

Scott Gibson serves as the Director of Systems Engineering and Risk Management at Amgen since September 2012, where responsibilities include directing global development functions and enhancing organizational capabilities for regulated product development. Prior to this role, Scott held various leadership positions at Amgen, such as Director of Product Development Engineering and Director of Early Technology Development, significantly contributing to drug delivery innovations and organizational strategies within the company. With previous experience at companies like PerQflo, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic MiniMed, Scott has a strong background in medical device development, project management, and engineering. Additionally, Scott has been involved with the North Valley Family YMCA, serving as Chair and Past Chair of the Board of Managers, influencing community outreach and service initiatives. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
