Shane Sander

Shane Sander has extensive experience at Amgen, where roles include Global Program Management Director and Director of US Value & Access since 2017, focusing on commercial and government business segments and overseeing the gross-to-net process. Prior to this, from 1994 to 2016, Shane held various senior management positions, including Contracts & Pricing Senior Manager, where pricing and analytics were provided for the U.S.; Senior Manager of Sustainability, who developed the environmental sustainability program; Senior Manager of Global Strategic Sourcing, optimizing over $100 million in external expenses; and Senior Project Manager, leading a significant project to mitigate contamination risks in manufacturing. Shane's career began in cell banking, progressing from Cell Bank Associate to Manager, where the transition to compliant GMP operations was achieved. Educational credentials include an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BS in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from UC San Diego.
