Stanton Bastian

Stanton Bastian currently serves as a Clinical Science Associate for Rare Disease—Ultra-Rare Medicines at Amgen, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Stanton held various roles in the rare disease sector at Horizon, including Clinical Science Associate and National Sales Director, starting in November 2016 following Horizon's acquisition of Raptor Pharmaceuticals. At Raptor, Stanton was pivotal in launching PROCYSBI® for treating nephropathic cystinosis. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Biogen, where Stanton was an Executive Area Business Manager within the Multiple Sclerosis franchise, and prior roles at Eisai US, focusing on neurology. Stanton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish Translation & Interpretation from Brigham Young University.
