Stephen Thibault

Stephen Thibault is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in protein biochemistry. Currently serving as a Director at Amgen since 2005, Stephen leads a Protein Biochemistry group that supports Discovery Research, utilizing diverse expression systems. Prior roles include Sr Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist, where responsibilities included recombinant protein expression and purification for applications such as x-ray crystallography, assay development, and biophysics. From 1998 to 2005, Stephen worked at Exelixis as a Research Scientist focused on target discovery and assay development. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of California, Riverside, and an A.B. in Biology and Chemistry from Wabash College.
