Steve Gordon

Steve Gordon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, medical communications, and publishing. Starting as a Research Assistant at AgResearch and Tatua Dairy Co-Operative, Steve progressed to Research Associate roles where significant contributions included the discovery of over 100 keratin genes and the development of functional milk proteins. Transitioning to Elsevier, Steve served as Senior Editorial Project Manager, overseeing editorial teams managing prominent medical journals. Most recently, as Medical Communications Excellence Lead at Amgen, Steve spearheaded digital communication strategies and managed regional publication processes across the JAPAC region. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and an M.Sc. in Biological Sciences from The University of Waikato, supplemented by various certifications in management and public sector studies.
