Tonya Slaton

Tonya Slaton has a diverse background in accounting and tax management, beginning as a Bookkeeper at C. M. Lybrand & Co. from August 1997 to January 2001, where responsibilities included payroll reporting and year-end book closing. Subsequently, Tonya served as an Auditor and Reconciler for the University of Florida Student Government Finance from January 2001 to March 2003, focusing on account reconciliations and financial discrepancies. From November 2004 to October 2018, Tonya advanced to the role of Tax Director at PwC, gaining extensive experience with ASC 740/FAS 109, tax preparation for various corporate structures, and mentoring teams. Tonya later held the position of Domestic Tax Director at Amgen from October 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, a commitment to community service was demonstrated as a Small Business Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps from September 2003 to August 2004, contributing to women's micro-credit projects. Tonya is an alumna of the University of Florida.
