Tyler Simpson is the Director and Precision Medicine Team Lead at Amgen, bringing over 12 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience to their role. Previously, Tyler served as a Clinical Biomarker Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb, where they designed biomarker testing strategies and led translational development efforts for immunotherapy-related projects. Tyler also held senior research positions at Jounce Therapeutics and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, contributing significantly to the field of tumor immunology and checkpoint blockade. They earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Genetics from The University of British Columbia.
