Weiwei Li is a dedicated PhD candidate at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UCSB, with over 13 years of research experience in environmental science and analytical chemistry. Their dissertation focuses on developing targeted proteomics and metabolomics methods to evaluate the impact of engineered nanomaterials on crop plants. Weiwei has previously worked as a research specialist at Professor Arturo Keller’s lab, an ORISE fellow at the US EPA, and has contributed to various projects involving the analysis of pesticides, herbicides, and pharmaceuticals in environmental matrices. Weiwei holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fundamental Science from Tsinghua University. Currently, they serve as a Process Development Senior Scientist—Analytical Chemist at Amgen.
