Xiang Yi is a bioassay expert and strategist specializing in small molecule assays, screening, and optimization to advance small molecule portfolios. With extensive experience in enzyme kinetics, enzyme engineering, and biochemical assay development, Xiang has held senior scientist roles at Amgen and Denali Therapeutics, demonstrating strong leadership by managing junior scientists and collaborating on industrial partnerships. Currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Amgen, Xiang leads a bioassay group and excels in assay design and strategic planning to enhance early drug discovery projects. Xiang earned a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center after obtaining a B.S. from Peking University Health Science Center.
