Ying Hou

Ying Hou, PhD, serves as the Associate Director of Scientific Communications for Rare Disease at Amgen since March 2022, focusing on the RD pipeline for Sjogren’s Disease and ultrarare medicines. Previously, Ying held positions as Senior Manager in Scientific Communications for Inflammation, leading global publication planning for treatments such as rocatinlimab and Enbrel. Earlier career experiences include roles at MedVal Scientific Information Services as a Senior Medical Writer, and at Envision Pharma Group as an Associate Medical Writer. Ying's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Immunology from Cornell University, an M.A. in Inorganic Chemistry, and a B.A. in Chemistry, both from Bryn Mawr College.
