Yun Chon is a Director of Biostatistics at Amgen, a position held since 2019, following a prior role as Biostatistics Director from 2013 to 2019. Yun also served as the Head of Biostatistics and Data Management at the International Vaccine Institute, where they focused on developing vaccines for neglected diseases in low to middle-income countries from 2017 to 2019. Previously, Yun was a Senior Statistician at UCLA from 1990 to 2004 and held various senior management roles in biostatistics at Amgen Inc from 2006 to 2013. Yun earned a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from UCLA between 1999 and 2003 and holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Yonsei University.
