Nicholas L.

Nicholas L. is a healthcare and life science leader who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Altro Pharmaceuticals, President of Amici Pharmaceuticals, and Co-Founder of Aquimont Capital, LLC, and sits on the Board of Directors for The University of Vermont Health Network—Porter Medical Center. They founded Staple Health and led it as CEO from 2016 to 2020, and the company was acquired by Unite Us in March 2020; they subsequently held data leadership roles at Unite Us, including Director of Analytics (2020–2022) and Sr. Data Operations Manager/Senior Director of Data Science. They earned a Master of Public Health in Health Care Management from Yale School of Public Health (2014–2016) and a Master’s degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley School of Information, and hold a BS in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University (2005–2009). Earlier in their career, they worked as Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital (2010–2011), Observatory Researcher at Mount Washington Observatory (2009–2010), and Air Quality and Public Health Investigator at Appalachian Mountain Club (2009).
