Sofia Nordin currently serves as the Director of Medical Affairs at Amicus Therapeutics, a position held since December 2020. Prior to this, Sofia was the Medical Director for the Nordics and Baltics at Ipsen, leading the medical strategy and team development from July 2019 to September 2020. Sofia's extensive experience at Janssen Pharmaceuticals included roles as Nordic Therapeutic Area Head for Lymphoma and Manager of Nordic Medical Affairs, focused on medical strategy and leadership. Earlier experience includes medical advisory roles at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB and SWEDISH ORPHAN INTERNATIONAL, as well as foundational roles in clinical drug development and research. Sofia Nordin holds a PhD in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet and additional qualifications in health economics, neuroscience, and biomedicine from various esteemed institutions.
