Stuart Black

Stuart Black is an experienced clinical trial manager currently at Amicus Therapeutics, where roles have included Clinical Trial Manager, Sr. Associate Clinical Trial Manager, Clinical Trial Associate, and TMF Associate since December 2017. Prior to this, Stuart served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Life Science Entrepreneurship (ILSE), focusing on the clinical microbiology program. From January 2011 to March 2017, Stuart held the position of Senior Scientist-Biologist at Merck, providing vital preclinical and clinical support for the Hepatitis C Virus franchise. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Scientist-Biologist at Schering-Plough Research Institute, contributing to the development of ERK and CDK inhibitors. Educationally, Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Penn State University, earned in 1987.
