JAN GOLDSTEIN

Jan Goldstein is the Director of North American Tours at Amiel Tours, a position held since 2011. They began their career in 1974 as the Cultural Arts Director at the Jewish Community Center of Omaha, where they worked on statewide archaeological and art exhibitions. Goldstein later served as the Women's Campaign and Director of Missions for the Omaha Jewish community, successfully creating a missions program to Israel that engaged nearly 15% of the community. As Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Omaha from 1998 to 2010, they continued the missions program, leading over 60 trips to Israel. Currently, they also serve as the Stateside Director for the Central Area Partnership Consortium, fostering connections between Israeli and American communities and promoting educational initiatives about Israel. Goldstein holds degrees in Biblical and Ancient Archaeology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from UCLA.
