Dan Meyer

Dan Meyer currently serves as the Managing Director of Growth at Amigos de las Americas since October 2024. Previously, Meyer founded and directed BACK&PACK, a startup focused on adventure and gap year travel programs for young adults, overseeing all business development aspects. Meyer's extensive experience in the travel and education sector includes roles as Program & Operations Director at GoBeyond Student Travel, where responsibilities included coordinating multiple adventure travel programs globally, and as Creative Manager for Global Expeditions Group, managing marketing initiatives across various brands. Additional roles as Lead Facilitator at YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities and various freelance positions reflect a diverse background in education and outdoor leadership. Dan Meyer holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology and has pursued doctoral coursework in International Education. Degrees in Experiential Education and Natural Resources Management were obtained from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and Colorado State University, respectively.
