Sara Nathan

Sara Nathan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sara currently serves as a Member at Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women leaders. In their previous role as President & CEO at Amigos de las Américas, Sara was responsible for establishing the organization's vision, implementing the business plan, and managing all programs. Sara also served as the Managing Director of Programs at Amigos de las Américas, overseeing the development and management of international service and exchange programs. Prior to that, Sara worked as the Vice Chair at the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they managed staff, budgets, and outreach activities. Sara also gained experience as a Program and Executive Assistant at the same institution. Additionally, Sara worked as a Project Director for Amigos de las Americas in Paraguay. Overall, their career has focused on leadership development, program management, and fostering international connections.

Sara Nathan started their education at the University of California, Berkeley in 1998 and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study at Berkeley was Natural Resources and Conservation and Spanish. Sara then pursued their Master of Science degree in Development Economics and International Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2005 to 2006.
