Sutton Demlong

Sutton Demlong has had a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked as a full-stack developer at Amivero starting in October 2021. Prior to that, from March 2021 to October 2021, Sutton worked as a Ruby on Rails/React Developer at ManTech.

Before transitioning into the technology field, Sutton worked as a Production Manager at LANNINGSMITH Studios from August 2016 to September 2020. In this role, Sutton was responsible for leading and executing complex built environments, specializing in creating custom sculptures for events, permanent spaces, or public spaces.

Sutton also has experience as an artist, having worked for the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts from March 2019 to November 2019. In this role, Sutton collaborated with Erick Antonio Benitez to create a proposal for the 2019 Light City event, which involved designing, budgeting, and scheduling. Following this, in 2014, Demlong pursued further education at the Maryland Institute College of Art. They enrolled in the Rinehart School of Sculpture and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree by the end of 2016.
