Tim Carter

Tim Carter has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Tim started their career at Enron, where they held various roles in sales, technical support, application support, underwriting, and as a specialist for the wholesale desk. Tim then joined American Electric Power as a Senior Risk Analyst before moving to Constellation NewEnergy, where they worked as a Manager of Deal Execution, Manager of Forecasting, Manager of ERCOT Settlements, and Director of Products & Services. After that, they joined MP2 Energy as the Vice President of Demand Response. Tim later joined RPower LLC as the Senior Vice President of Market Research and Development, focusing on affordable electricity resiliency. Currently, they are the Vice President of Wholesale Services at Ammper Power.

Tim Carter has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Global Energy Management from the University of Houston. Tim also attended the University of Houston-Downtown from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they studied at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Tim has obtained certifications including Certified Demand Side Manager, Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Energy Procurement Professional, all from the Association of Energy Engineers.
