Tim Lee

Tim Lee has a diverse and extensive work experience that spans over two decades. Tim began their career in 2001 as a Graduate Professional Engineer at the Royal Australian Navy (Navy Systems Command). In 2003, they joined the Department of Defence as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in submarine manoeuvring and modelling.

From 2005 onwards, Tim worked at AMOG, a group of companies where they held various positions. Tim started as a Senior Engineer and gradually climbed the ranks, becoming an Associate Director and Principal Engineer, Vice President, and later an Executive Director and Head of Systems and Safety Engineering. In these roles, Tim's focus was on system safety engineering, software safety, and safety management system development for complex programs in the defence and other industries.

Tim's expertise also extended to business development in the defence sector. Tim served as the Chief Operations Officer of the AMOG group of companies, responsible for strategic leadership and overseeing the company's operations. Throughout their tenure at AMOG, they demonstrated specialist knowledge in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, and maritime engineering.

Tim Lee attended Monash University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Visual Arts and French. Tim has also obtained several additional certifications, including being a Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria, being registered on the National Engineering Register, being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, being a L'Ingénieur Européen, being a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland, being a Chartered Professional Engineer, and being a Chartered Engineer.
