Jae Won Oh has worked as a Chemical Engineer at Amogy since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Engineer at Gaia Energy Research Institute from 2021 to 2022, where they researched materials and chemistry for novel low-carbon electrochemical and energy technologies. In 2019, they worked on Senior Thesis Research at Princeton University, where they assayed and analyzed non-conventional yeast strains in bioethanol production for applications in biofuels, chemicals, and sustainable manufacturing. Jae Won also worked as an independent researcher and a Summer Intern & Undergraduate Research at Princeton University. In 2020, they were selected as a Reiner G. Stoll Fellow for summer research in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton Engineering, where they conducted literature research to write a review on current developments in bioethanol production using halotolerant yeasts and algae. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences in 2020.
Jae Won Oh attended Princeton University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Jae Won is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
