Patrick Rivers

Patrick Rivers is a Portfolio Manager at aMoon Fund, where they manage a portfolio of public and private investments in biotechnology companies. Previously, Patrick held positions as Managing Director and Head of Research at Aquilo Capital Management, Senior Research Associate at Sutro Biopharma, Inc., and Associate Research Scientist at Exelixis, working on various aspects of drug development and process optimization. They began their career as a Process Development Associate II at XOMA. Patrick holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, they are the Co-Chair of the Business Development and Finance Committee at the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, where they coordinate initiatives to connect the cell and gene therapy product development and investor communities.
