Richard Nelson

Richard Nelson is the Head of Investor Relations at AMP since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in investor relations and equity research. Prior roles include Investor Relations at IVE Group from November 2019 to April 2022 and Head of Debt Investor Relations at Commonwealth Bank of Australia from June 2010 to September 2019. Richard also served as Head of Institutional Sales at Macquarie Bank and held various positions in investor relations at Macquarie Group and Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group. Earlier experience includes equity research sales at ABN AMRO and J.P. Morgan, where Richard was Vice President based in New York, as well as an Investment Analyst role at Commonwealth Bank from 1988 to 1996. Richard Nelson holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance, Investments and Securities from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
