Stephen Coy

Stephen Coy is an experienced Testing Officer at Ampcontrol, specializing in various testing and analysis processes for electrical and battery systems since July 2018. Responsibilities include fault finding for BMS modules, insulation resistance testing, and performing charge/discharge cycle testing of 400VDC battery strings, among other tasks. Prior to this role, Stephen served as an Electrical Apprentice, focusing on the overhaul and manufacture of specialized electrical equipment and substations. With a solid foundation in electronics from the Royal Australian Navy, where duties included planned and corrective maintenance of advanced combat systems, Stephen holds a Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications from TAFE NSW. Additional qualifications include CPR, First Aid, and a Forklift Licence, alongside a Qualified Supervisors Electrical Licence.
