Before their career in tech, Tyler worked as a Team Academic Coach at A PLUS Youth Program, where they mentored and tutored underprivileged student athletes, and helped raise funds for the non-profit organization.

Additionally, they obtained a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Portland. Prior to their higher education, Tyler attended Lakeside School in Seattle, WA.
