Ivar Boom

Ivar Boom has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ivar started their career as a Junior Design Engineer at Gemeente Rotterdam, where they were involved in engineering and inspecting building sites for bicycle bridges. Ivar then worked as an Intern and Assistent Project Manager/Planner at Strukton, where they were responsible for planning, controlling subcontractors, and managing communication between stakeholders. After that, Ivar joined ARCADIS as an MSc Graduate, where they focused on a feasibility study of tensile-compression ring roof structures for football stadia. Finally, Ivar joined Ampelmann Operations, where they held multiple roles, including Quality Engineer, Operations Process Engineer, Manager Data Services, and currently, as the Head of Digital. In their current role, they lead and manages the Digital team, defining and executing the Digital strategy for the company.

Ivar Boom obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Building Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. Prior to their master's degree, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the same university, graduating from 2005 to 2009. Ivar'ssecondary education was completed at Develstein College, where they obtained an Atheneum degree in Nature & Physics from 1999 to 2005.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ivar Boom has also obtained several certifications. Ivar completed the Scrum Master & Product Owner program at Scrum Academy in April 2020. Ivar undertook the Innovation Leadership Program at THNK School of Creative Leadership in December 2019. Furthermore, they acquired the Coaching Leadership certification from NONONS | Opleidingen Trainingen Coaching in October 2019. Lastly, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX() from edX, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
