Richard Harkness

Richard Harkness is an experienced professional in marine engineering and maintenance, with a career spanning from 1987 to the present. Richard began as a Marine Engineering Mechanic in the Royal Navy, where responsibilities included maintaining and repairing machinery. Following that, Richard worked as a Mobile Engineer at HP Hydraulics, specializing in the repair and installation of hydraulic systems. Richard then operated as a Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter, managing client relations for servicing and repairs of heavy machinery. From 2008 to 2014, Richard served as a Senior OAS Operator Technician at Offshore Solutions B.V., coordinating operations with onboard management. Currently, Richard is a Maintenance Operator at Ampelmann Operations. Richard is also a graduate of HMS Sultan Marine Engineering School, holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
