John Tran

John Tran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Distinguished Logic and Methodology Engineer at Ampere since April 2018, John Tran leads a team focused on designing high-speed, power-efficient intellectual property while integrating these designs into effective die and package solutions. Prior to Ampere, John Tran spent 19 years at Intel Corporation, where a diverse range of roles included circuit designer, memory designer, manager, timing expert, chip integration specialist, and CAD software architect. John Tran holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, earned in 1999.
