Carson Crooks

Carson Crooks has had a diverse work experience. They began as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom in 2011, before moving on to work with King County, WA as a Signs and Marking Specialist in 2015. In 2016, they worked at Amazon as a Fulfillment Specialist for a brief period, before joining Ply Gem as a Programmer Analyst, where they worked from 2016 to 2019. Shortly after, they joined Wizards of the Coast as a Computer Support Technician for a short period in 2019. From 2020, Carson joined Amperity, where they held three roles: Office & Technical Support Specialist (February 2020- July 2021), Information Technology Administrator (February 2020 - March 2022), and Senior Information Technology Administrator (March 2022 - present). In their current role, they act as a Subject Matter Expert, designing and maintaining IAM services using Okta. They collaborate with multiple internal teams, streamline/automate access to applications, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and communicate with stakeholders and business users regarding any Okta-related work.

Carson Crooks attended Western Washington University from 2009 until 2015 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies Computer Science and Math. In September of 2022, Carson Crooks obtained an Okta Certified Professional certification from Okta.
