Jackson Baker started their career as a Systems Administrator at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama in 2006. Jackson then worked as a Help-Desk Assistant and Network Support at the same university from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they became a Campus Representative for Apple Computer Inc before moving to become a Unix Server Administrator at the University of Alabama from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they worked at UA-IT Innovation Center in the roles of Business Analyst/Developer and Project Manager from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they served as an Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering Intern at NetApp. From 2013 to 2014, they worked for the University of Washington as a Sr. Integration Developer and Security Advisor. In 2014, they joined Decisive Data, where they worked as a Technical Project Manager from 2014 to 2016 and then as a Project Manager Lead from 2016 to 2018. Recently, they have been working as a Customer Engagement Manager at Amperity since 2018.
Jackson Baker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from The University of Alabama in 2011 after studying there from 2006-2011. Jackson later completed a Masters of Science degree in Enterprise Integration at The University of Alabama from 2011-2012.
