Rian Smith

Rian Smith has over 17 years of experience in various roles related to sales and business development. Rian worked as a New Business Director for Amperity in 2023 and served as a Board Member for the Australian Loyalty Association in 2022. Rian also held multiple roles at Cheetah Digital, including Head of Sales for APAC, Senior Enterprise Business Director, and Enterprise Business Development Director, from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they were a Partner Lead ANZ and Large Enterprise Account Executive at Hootsuite, where they worked from 2013 to 2018. Rian also worked at Salesforce.com as a Strategic Accounts Representative, Sales Representative at the Marketing Cloud, and Sales Representative from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they worked for Connolly's RED MILLS as International Business Development Representative and Key Account Manager, and for Xtra-vision Ltd as an Active Floor Seller. Rian started their professional career as a Part-time Sales Consultant and Full-time Sales Consultant at Meteor Mobile Communications in 2004.

Rian Smith has a Leaving Certificate from Blackrock College dating back to 2004. Later on, they attended the University of Galway where they earned a B.Comm in Marketing, Management, and German between 2004 and 2009. In 2006, they spent a year at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg as part of their B.Comm International. In 2010, Rian attended Technological University Dublin and completed the International Selling Programme focusing on International Sales Development.
