Wade Foley has extensive legal experience, having worked in various roles for different companies over the years. Wade began their legal career as a City Prosecutor for the City of Spokane in 1996, before becoming a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Skamania County in 1998. In 1999, they founded their own law firm - Nelson & Foley Attorneys at Law - where they were the Managing Partner. Their work here involved advising a range of businesses on matters such as litigation, commercial agreements, private placement and venture capital financing. After seven years at their firm, they joined Concur Technologies as the Managing Director Legal SAP Concur where they negotiated worldwide policies and agreements, and provided support to executive leadership. In 2019, they became the Associate General Counsel and Global Head of Compliance and Privacy at App Annie. Currently, they work as the Vice President Legal at Amperity, which they joined in 2022.

Wade Foley attended the University of Washington from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Political Science and Government. After that, they attended Gonzaga University School of Law from 1994 to 1997, obtaining a Juris Doctorate degree. There is no information about any other educational experiences.
