Ryan DeShon

Ryan DeShon is the Director at Ampled. Ryan has over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry, working with some of the biggest names in the business. Ryan started their career as a Web Analyst / Jr. Graphic Designer / Web Video Editor for Harpo, where they worked on editing video for the Rosie O'Donnell show for web exclusives. Ryan then transitioned to Catapult, where they worked with authors to develop websites and custom interactive projects that extended outside of the book experience. Ryan was also responsible for building all digital assets for the company. Next, they moved to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, where they maintained servers by upgrading hardware and software, worked with backend and frontend developers for structural updates made on Oprah.com, and maintained user access to internal systems. After leaving OWN, Ryan joined Penguin Random House as a Director. In their current role at Ampled, Ryan is responsible for leading the company's digital strategy and growth.

Ryan DeShon attended The Art Institutes and received a Bachelor's degree in Digital Video and Film Production. Ryan also attended ITT Technical Institute and received an Associates in Multimedia.
